THC Co. is an e-commerce platform offering a curated selection of premium THC-based products. The project aimed to design and develop an end-to-end website that balances regulatory compliance, user education, and seamless shopping experiences. The design reflects the brand’s identity with earthy tones and bold accents, fostering trust and engagement while highlighting its diverse product range.



As the Designer, I was responsible for the complete design process, crafting everything from intuitive navigation and engaging product listing pages to detailed product showcases and a streamlined checkout process. The website was optimized for responsiveness, ensuring a consistent experience across all devices. Features like age verification, clear CTAs, and trust-building elements were seamlessly integrated to create a compliant and user-centric platform that positions THC Co. as a leader in its market.

challenge

The project faced several challenges, including the need to balance visually appealing design with strict regulatory compliance, such as age verification and disclaimers. Selecting a color palette was particularly challenging, as it needed to reflect the brand’s earthy, natural identity while maintaining accessibility and adhering to contrast standards for usability.

Designing intuitive navigation and filtering systems for a diverse product range without overwhelming users was another hurdle. Ensuring mobile responsiveness and optimizing performance required meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, aligning the overall design with the brand’s identity while fostering trust and transparency added to the creative and technical complexities.

The redesign focused on simplifying navigation with clear product categories, intuitive CTAs like "View All," and high-quality visuals for effortless product discovery. Transparent messaging, such as "100% Legal THC Product" and "Lab Tested," reinforced trust, while responsive design ensured a seamless experience across all devices.

seamless checkout

The ideation for the checkout page centered on creating a seamless and reassuring experience that reduces friction and builds trust during the final steps of the purchasing journey. The layout is clean and uncluttered, focusing on essential elements like product details, quantity management, and a clear order summary to minimize user effort and decision fatigue.

To foster transparency, all costs, including taxes and shipping, are clearly displayed in the summary. Prominent CTAs such as "Apply" for coupons and "Checkout" are strategically placed for easy accessibility. Payment options are visually presented to ensure flexibility and user trust. The "Explore Our Favorites" section introduces a subtle upselling opportunity without disrupting the checkout flow, while responsive design ensures a smooth experience across all devices. The visual consistency and thoughtful organization enhance user confidence, reducing cart abandonment rates.
